Four men remain at large more than a month after a suburban home was ransacked and a resident threatened with a machete.
Victoria Police said the four men gained access to a home on Fiore Way at Truganina, in Melbourne’s west, about 9pm on August 11.
Once inside the home, the group confronted two occupants, a man and a woman, in a hallway.
A 35-year-old man was threatened with a machete while demands were made for cash.
He sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Another resident, a 40-year-old woman, was not physically injured.
Police say the thieves rummaged through a number of rooms before fleeing with multiple pieces of gold jewellery.
Detectives released CCTV footage on Monday of the offenders piling out of a silver/grey Holden Commodore outside the home, hoping the public can help identify the group.
Police say the group, dressed in black, fled in the same vehicle.
