Prince William is making a surprise wedding day appearance on Travis Kelce’s podcast.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is expected to marry Taylor Swift at around 5pm on Friday (03.07.26) in New York City, and just a few hours before that, his and brother Jason Kelce’s chat with the Prince of Wales will broadcast on their New Heights series.
A teaser for William’s appearance on New Heights was shared by Travis and Jason on Instagram, and it featured the latter reading out a string of the prince’s titles as part of his introduction.
In the clip, Jason said: “Our guest today is the 6 foot 3′ Prince from London, England.
“That’s right. The president of the English Football Association, the Vice Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of Cornwall, the Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, Earl of Chester, and the Prince of Wales.
“92 percenters, please welcome his Royal Highness, Prince William!”
As Jason yelled his introduction, Travis cheered and clapped throughout before shouting: “Let’s go!”
As Jason began to bow, William then appeared between him and Travis and struggled to contain his laughter.
He said: “That is quite the intro, guys. Amazing.”
Jason replied: “We had to do it big for you, had to do it big.”
William previously met Travis when he took his oldest children, Prince George, 12, and 11-year-old Princess Charlotte, to watch Taylor’s Eras Tour show at London’s Wembley Stadium in June 2024.
The prince – who celebrated his 42nd birthday on the same day as the show – shared a photo of himself, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Taylor backstage, while Travis also got in for a group selfie.
On the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account, he wrote: “Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour.”
Sharing the snaps on her own account, Taylor quipped: “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.”
Travis later declared the 44-year-old royal – who also has Prince Louis, eight, with wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, to be the “coolest motherf*****”.
Speaking on Ne Heights, he said: “Dude, he was the coolest motherf*****.”
Jason interjected and described the British royal as “awesome”, while Travis added: “He was so cool.”
The NFL star admitted he wasn’t sure what the right protocol was when he met William because he didn’t know whether to “bow”, “curtsy”, or “just be an American idiot and shake their hand”.
He explained: “We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the park.”
He also joked that he’s never seen his brother Jason “give someone that much respect” when he got the chance to talk to them at the gig.
He quipped: “You put your beer, like, 10 feet away from you.”
Referencing a viral video of himself holding a beer cup between his teeth during one of Taylor’s London gigs, Jason teased: “I didn’t have it in my teeth when I met [Prince William]!”
He continued: “They were wonderful people, and that’s what it’s about. You know? Obviously, literally part of a monarchy, royalty. Yeah.
“Hard to be a down to earth human being, I would assume. But came off that way completely.”
Travis agreed, adding: “Very genuine, very cool.”
