Hyderabad: On July 6, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation ( CMC) issued an improvement notice to the ITLU Veg Diner in the Financial District for water stagnation, mislabelling, and other violations.
The restaurant did not offer warm water for sanitizing cooking utensils, according to the food security team. Foods waste accumulated near drains, and there was significant waterlogging on the floor.
The people ‘ clothes were kept close to the food preparation area, which raised concerns about food safety, according to the government. The foods products, including the Hara Bhara Kebab, Beetroot Tikka, Onion Rings, Hello Gravy, and Sweet Corn, were kept in the open and were never labeled.

Action taken, health evaluation
The restaurant’s sky in the storeroom was covered in a considerable amount of dust, which put a risk on the safety of the food being served to customers. Additionally, the CMC team pointed out that the claim” The Purest Water on Earth” displayed on the restaurant’s glass water bottles was potentially false, and that the food business operator ( FBO ) was given the order to stop using it.
After the inspection, the food security team immediately discarded unlabelled foods on the spot, issued a report on the situation, and instructed corrective actions.
The ITLU diner received 82 percent of the overall rating for health. On Road no 45 in Jubilee Hills, the eatery has a second location.
