A major rescue operation is under way after a woman fell 30m while hiking in the Blue Mountains.
The woman, aged in her 30s, fell down a cliff near a walking track at Leura at about 11am on Saturday.
She is believed to be in a serious but stable condition.
Emergency crews, including four police vehicles, have been called to the scene as crews worked to assess and rescue the woman from the rugged terrain
