The State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the SBI PO Prelims Result 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Probationary Officer preliminary examination can now check the roll number-wise result on the official SBI website at sbi.bank.in. The result was declared on August 28, 2026.
The recruitment drive is being conducted for 1,500 Probationary Officer posts against advertisement number – CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. The preliminary examination was held on August 1 and 2, 2026. Candidates who have cleared the preliminary stage have been shortlisted for the SBI PO Mains examination.

The official result document released by SBI contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination. SBI has mentioned September 12, 2026 as the tentative date for the Mains exam. Further details will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through SMS or email.
SBI PO PRELIMS RESULT 2026: HOW TO CHECK
Candidates can follow these steps to check the result:
- Visit the official SBI website – sbi.bank.in.
- Go to the Careers section and open Current Openings.
- Find the recruitment link for Probationary Officers 2026-27.
- Click on the Preliminary Examination Result link.
- The SBI PO Prelims result PDF will appear on the screen.
- Download the PDF and use the Ctrl+F function to search for your roll number.
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the list are eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process. The preliminary examination is the first stage, followed by the Main Examination and subsequent Phase III stages as prescribed in the recruitment process.
SBI’s official result notice does not list individual marks in the roll number-wise PDF. Shortlisted candidates have been advised that further details will be sent separately through SMS or email.
