In a major crackdown on an alleged Bollywood-drug network, the Kashimira Police in Mira Road have arrested actor and model Rohullah Mehndi Dar, alias Rohu, along with an associate. Authorities seized 28 grams of Mephedrone (MD) drugs valued at approximately Rs 5.6 lakh during the operation.
An FIR (No. 437/2026) has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, naming the actor as a key accused.

Providing details of the bust, Crime Branch officer Sanjay Lokhande said police received secret intelligence regarding MD drugs being sold via Snapchat, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms. Acting on the tip-off, the Kashimira Police laid a trap using a decoy customer.
During the sting, a suspect identified as Kasif was called near Thakur Mall at Dahisar Check Naka for a delivery of 28 grams of MD drugs. Police took Kasif into custody, and during his interrogation, the name of Rohullah Mehndi surfaced.
Following the revelation, a police team tracked down Rohullah Mehndi and arrested him from outside a shooting studio in Malad. According to officials, Mehndi originally hails from the Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir and currently resides in Goregaon.
Mehndi has previously worked in actor Shahid Kapoor’s action-thriller Deva (2025) and also featured in a few web series. His involvement has prompted investigators to expand their probe toward potential links between drug suppliers and the film industry.
Police produced Rohullah Mehndi in court, which remanded him to police custody for five days.
Investigators are currently questioning the actor to trace his client list, uncover the primary distribution network behind the operation, and determine if drugs were supplied to other prominent figures in the entertainment industry. Further arrests are expected as the probe progresses.
