A popular waterfront venue in Perth’s northern suburbs has officially rebranded following a successful year as a summer pop-up.
Sorrento Beach Club at Sorrento Quay, Hillarys has transformed into The Waterfront, with owners ELG Australia ensuring regular customers that it is still the “same great spot by the water”.
The rebrand marks a fresh direction for the venue and will offer a stronger focus on sport and entertainment through more big screens, pool tables and live bands.
The Waterfront will serve pub-style food, and a new lineup of midweek specials includes $25 chicken parmis and steaks, half-price pizza and $3 oysters.
To celebrate the launch, $6 Peronis will be available until Friday.
The popular Happy Hour is set to continue every night of the week between 5pm and 6pm with $9 beers, house wines and $12 alcoholic slushies.
After a year operating as a summer pop-up beach club, ELG Australia managing director Ryan Esqulant said the team decided to evolve the venue’s concept and make it a year-round hospitality destination.
“We’ve loved the journey with Sorrento Beach Club over the past year, and the response from our customers has been fantastic,” he said.

“Now it’s time for a refresh. The Waterfront better reflects what we want this venue to be – somewhere you can come for sport, a cold drink, good pub food, live entertainment or simply to sit by the water with friends.”
ELG Australia is the hospitality group behind some of Perth’s popular dining and entertainment destinations, including Hillarys Beach Club, Yanchep Beach Club and the group’s newest Applecross venues, Bar Olé Applecross and The Heart Applecross.
