Bollywood actor Sunny Deol made a rare public appearance with his wife Pooja Deol on Tuesday morning as the couple was captured at the Mumbai airport. The sighting quickly grabbed attention online as Sunny and Pooja have largely kept their personal life away from the public eye and are seldom photographed together.

Videos shared on Instagram by paparazzo Rohit Saraiya showed Sunny arriving at the airport in an olive green shirt paired with blue denims, white sneakers and black sunglasses. Carrying a small travel bag, the actor was seen walking swiftly towards the security entrance before pausing to wait for Pooja, who followed closely behind in a beige shirt layered over black trousers with minimal styling and spectacles.

A rare glimpse of Sunny and Pooja together

The appearance stood out because Sunny and Pooja have maintained a notably private relationship over the decades. Unlike many Bollywood celebrity couples, the two rarely make joint public appearances or attend industry events together.

One of the few occasions where Pooja was seen publicly with the Deol family was during their son Karan Deol’s wedding celebrations. Even then, the family largely kept media interactions limited.

The Deol family’s long-standing privacy

The women of the Deol family have traditionally stayed away from the spotlight. Late Dharmendra’s first wife Prakash Kaur has rarely appeared publicly over the years, while Sunny’s sisters Vijeta Deol and Ajita Deol have also remained away from regular media attention.

Sunny married Pooja in the 1980s, before he rose to superstardom in Bollywood. Despite his decades-long career and massive fan following, Pooja has consistently maintained a low profile and has rarely spoken publicly or attended film events.

Sunny continues to remain one of Bollywood’s biggest action stars with films such as Ghayal, Damini, Border, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Jeet still widely remembered by audiences.

The actor is currently preparing for upcoming projects including Lahore 1947, Ramayana and Gabru. The airport appearance once again drew attention for offering fans a rare look at Sunny and Pooja together in public.
