Passengers flying out from Sydney Airport have been warned of delays after strong winds began affecting flights.
Several flights departing from Sydney have been cancelled on Tuesday morning, with more delays expected throughout the day.
“Strong winds are affecting operations at Sydney Airport and flight delays are expected throughout the day,” a Sydney Airport spokesman told NewsWire.
“Passengers should check the latest status of their flight with their airline before travelling to the airport.
“We thank passengers for their patience and understanding.”
It comes after days of chaos at Sydney Airport, including two passenger jets narrowly avoiding a ground collision and major flight delays.
