Taylor Frankie Paul has lashed out after her ex-husband Tate filed for a temporary restraining order against her.

Tate – the father of Taylor’s children Indy, eight, and six-year-old Ocean – filed the motion in a Utah court last month, according to court documents obtained by People.

The 34-year-old, who was married to Taylor between 2016 and 2022, also filed a petition to modify their divorce agreement and custody agreement terms.

And, a furious Taylor, 32, took to Instagram to hit out at her ex over the filing, which was subsequently denied.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor wrote: “I spent the day crying and fighting for my 2 older children.

“They had returned yesterday after being withheld and they were expressing how excited they were to spend this year with me doing fireworks.

“Their dad even told me we could EXTEND it to Monday so I relayed them the exciting news just for him to take it back? It was lies to them and my gut was wrenching to witness them cry, confused and asking why…”

Taylor also went on to reference her recent voluntary rehab stay, which she was in order to seek “extra support for my mental health”, only to “have my kids taken for doing the right thing”.

She went on: “Why would I ever ask for help again? I openly tested at the facility and was clean aside from prescription meds [that] I openly talk about.

“I’m tired and fed up. My eyes are swollen from crying for my kids all day and night. I’m exhausted all around and I hope the courts see who they really are.”

It was previously reported that Taylor voluntarily entered rehab to seek help amid the other legal battle she’s in the midst of with ex Dakota Mortensen, the father of her two-year-old son Ever.

A source told People that the reality TV star “checked into a facility upon the recommendation of her doctor, adding that it was a “voluntary” stay which has now ended.

The insider added to the outlet: “She’s committed to getting better.”

Not only that but “the people around Taylor want her to get help and “get better”.

The source also said: “Everyone is just trying to protect the kids.”

In April, Taylor and Dakota were granted mutual protective orders against each other for the next three years.

The exes are both claiming the other acted violently in a series of altercations in February, with Commissioner Russell Minas making the ruling, adding at the time that the pair can’t be in the same place together for long before “it turns violent”.
