Hyderabad: Continuing its crackdown on unhygienic premises engaged in the preparation and sale of food items, the Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) has lifted 38 samples on suspicion of adulteration during a special drive covering sweet manufacturing units and retail outlets across the State.
Food safety officials conducted the inspections on October 23 and found several violations, including damaged flooring, accumulated food waste, clogged drains, dirty walls, greasy exhausts and chimneys, and improper storage of food articles.
