The teaser of The Vvaan: Force of the Forest, starring actors Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, has been released ahead of the film’s theatrical debut on September 25. Directed by Deepak Kumar Misra and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor, the fantasy film draws from folklore and places its central character in a forest with a supernatural presence.
The teaser gives a glimpse into the conflict at the centre of the story. Sidharth Malhotra‘s character is seen preparing to face an unknown force, while the forest appears to hold a connection to him that he is yet to understand. Earlier promotional material had described the character as being as ferocious as a tiger and as powerful as a cow.

As the footage progresses, Malhotra’s character enters a plain that people appear to avoid. His journey leads him towards a secret connected to his identity, the forest’s folklore and its supernatural elements. The teaser also hints at themes involving possession and the struggle for power.
The Vvaan marks a foray into folklore-based fantasy for its lead cast, with the story combining elements of action, adventure and the supernatural. Before the teaser, the makers had released a motion poster and a brief comic-art reveal, offering limited details about the world of the film.

The teaser arrives after The Vvaan underwent several changes to its release schedule. The film was initially announced for a Chhath Puja release in 2025 before being pushed to May 2026 and subsequently August 28. It is now scheduled to release in theatres on September 25. The earlier postponements were attributed to extended post-production and visual effects work.
There have also been reports of extensive reshoots, re-editing and changes to the film’s direction team. The makers have not publicly detailed the extent of these changes.
The film will arrive in cinemas on September 25.
