A toddler has died after he was hit by a car at a private property north of Brisbane.
The young boy was struck and killed by the vehicle at a residence in Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast on Monday afternoon.
Authorities were yet to reveal the boy’s age.
Emergency teams were called about 4.30pm, but the child died at the scene.
A large primary school and childcare centre take up much of the street, but police said these were unrelated to the incident.
The circumstances were set to be referred to the coroner, police said, with investigations ongoing.
