An Australian national has died in Vietnam, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has confirmed.
DFAT confirmed it was supporting the family of the Australian and offering consular assistance.
The department did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the Australian’s death.
“We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time,” DFAT said in a statement.
