Actor Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani have officially registered their marriage, months after getting married in a lavish ceremony. The couple, who got married in February 2025, recently completed the legal formalities during the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The couple shared glimpses of their marriage registration ceremony on Instagram, posting a series of pictures from the signing ceremony. The photos show the couple dressed for the occasion as they signed the marriage documents and posed together at the court. Their family members, including Aadar’s mother Rima Jain, were also present for the ceremony.

Sharing the pictures, the couple marked the occasion with a playful caption. “Trial period: OVER…No returns, no exchanges, no take-backs! Officially Mr. & Mrs. Jain! Finally made it legal with my favouriteThank you, Ganpati Bappa, for blessing u (sic).”
The couple’s post prompted congratulatory messages from friends and family, with several celebrities also reacting to the pictures.
The couple’s relationship began when Aadar proposed to Alekha by the sea in September 2023. Two months later, in November, he made their relationship Instagram official with a post describing Alekha as the “light of my life”.
Before dating Alekha, Aadar was in a relationship with actor Tara Sutaria. The two made their romance Instagram official in August 2020 before eventually parting ways.
Aadar is the grandson of legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor and the son of Rima Jain and Manoj Jain. He is also the cousin of actors Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. Aadar made his Bollywood debut with Qaidi Band in 2017 and was last seen in Hello Charlie.
