Two people have been killed, including a six-year-old boy, and 11 are injured after a truck drove through a soccer game in the US state of Kansas.
The other fatality was a 35-year-old man, while 10 of the injured had traumatic injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, Wichita Police said on Saturday.
Police said the driver was in custody but did not give further details about the person or say whether they believed it was intentional. Two minors were also in the truck.
Police, fire and EMS officials responded, and authorities said there was no further public threat.
Mayor Lily Wu advised people to avoid the area during the investigation and said the news was heartbreaking.
“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, especially the children and families involved,” she said via Facebook.
