Britain’s former head of the armed forces backed an investigation into UFOs that warned the mysterious phenomenon could contain a chilling “demonic element”.
Newly resurfaced findings from the 1996-97 UFO Concern investigation, supported by Admiral of the Fleet Lord Hill-Norton, claimed some unexplained aerial activity involved forces beyond human understanding.
Lord Hill-Norton, a former Chief of Defence Staff and head of the Royal Navy, was one of Britain’s most senior military figures and took the UFO issue seriously.
Section 13 of the report, titled “Religious and Spiritual”, made stark claims about the phenomenon.
It stated: “An intelligence is at work which is not man-made. Is Satan controlling ordinary people’s minds to do its work?”
The report also warned: “Forces of intelligence are currently involved with humanity, some of negative intent.”
Another section claimed there was a “Satanic element involved… to deceive people into believing a lie” and referenced “fallen angels, demonic spirits, and the ‘prince of the power of the air himself'”.
The claims have resurfaced amid renewed global fascination with UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs, alongside calls for governments to release classified files.
British filmmaker and UFO researcher Mark Christopher Lee said the findings should not be dismissed.
He said: “This isn’t fringe speculation — this came from the very top of the British military establishment decades ago.
“It lines up exactly with what I have been told directly by Non-Human Intelligence.
“The phenomenon has both positive and negative elements, and the public deserves full transparency.”
Lee recently urged Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to release Britain’s secret UFO files, appearing on TalkTV and GB News to call for the UK to “do a Trump”.
He claims events then took an eerie turn.
Just hours after his media appearances, Lee and his wife reportedly filmed a triangle-shaped object appearing and disappearing over their garden in St Albans.
He said: “The timing is extraordinary.
“The veil is lifting — and the truth is far darker and stranger than most people realise.”
Despite growing public interest and high-profile claims, no official UK or US authority has confirmed the existence of demonic entities or non-human intelligence linked to UFO sightings.
