A suicide note was recovered from the spot. The note reportedly indicated that the aspirant was experiencing depression related to his studies, police said.

During the preliminary inquiry, investigators found no indication of foul play, officials said. Further details regarding the circumstances leading to the incident are awaited.

Old Rajinder Nagar is a prominent hub for UPSC aspirants, with numerous coaching institutes and accommodation facilities catering to students preparing for the civil services examination.

The incident has once again drawn attention to the pressures associated with competitive examination preparation and the importance of mental health support for students.
