Two homes in two separate suburbs have been ravaged by fire overnight, leaving one person with burns and suspicions one property was deliberately torched.
A family-of-six is reeling after their home on Hillsborough Avenue in Baldivis was destroyed by fire around 5pm yesterday, with a fundraising page stating the family “lost everything in a matter of moments”.
“Unfortunately due to the cost of living their insurance has lapsed and they literally only have the clothes on their back,” the page read.
One person was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital suffering burns.

Making headlines today, new data has laid bare the impact of a national housing downturn, with home values in Perth dropping by 3.2 per cent over the last quarter, according to Cotality.
