WA Police are seeking the public’s help following unconfirmed reports that a woman was trying to escape from a stolen car last seen in Perth’s north.
The West understands police are working to confirm whether a woman was trying to exit a grey Holden Colorado utility, registration 1FAK727, which was stolen from Craigie Leisure Centre about 4.25pm on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said the car was “last seen driving dangerously within the Neerabup and Wanneroo area”.
“Concerns are held for the occupants of the vehicle,” he said.
It is understood the car has been picked up at least once by an automatic number plate recognition camera.
Several officers are currently searching for the vehicle and are working to confirm whether a woman possibly inside the car alongside the driver was in danger.
Anyone who sights the car is urged to not approach but instead call police on 131 444.
