Aaradhya Bachchan drew attention at Mumbai airport on August 4 after she greeted paparazzi with folded hands while leaving with her parents, actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. The brief gesture, followed by a smile, has been widely shared online.
Videos from the airport showing the family moving through heavy security and photographers stationed outside have surfaced.
At the airport, Abhishek was seen stepping out first and acknowledging airport officials. He shook hands with them before being escorted away amid heavy security and the presence of photographers. Soon after, Aishwarya and Aaradhya appeared together in black outfits, and the 14-year-old quickly folded her hands to greet the paparazzi.

Earlier Cannes outing
Aaradhya had earlier accompanied Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to the Cannes Film Festival in the French Riviera. A video from the visit also went viral online showing Aishwarya stopping to greet fans while Aaradhya watched the interaction closely.
In that clip, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were seen walking hand in hand when a fan asked for an autograph and a picture. Aishwarya stopped immediately, greeted admirers, signed autographs and posed for selfies. Aaradhya stood beside her, watched the exchange and smiled as fans gathered around.
An X handle that shared the video wrote, “Unseen ~ Aishwarya Rai & Aaradhya for @lorealparisfr Dinner at Cannes 2k26 ; (star emoji)…Aaradhya is looking so pretty (heart emoji) (sic).”
The visit also marked Aaradhya Bachchan’s official debut at the festival in a red gown, although she is yet to walk the red carpet. She accompanied her mother at the 6th edition of the Lights On Women’s Worth Award. Aaradhya has been travelling with Aishwarya to Cannes since she was a toddler, and her latest appearance again drew attention.
Abhishek and Aishwarya’s work projects
Abhishek Bachchan was most recently seen in the historical drama Raja Shivaji, where he played Sambhaji Maharaj. Before that, he appeared in Kaalidhar Laapata. The actor will next be seen in King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, meanwhile, was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan II. Since then, she has not announced a new acting project.
