Washington: The Trump administration has been the subject of social media scrutiny after posting a cartoon of a man who appears to resemble Jeffrey Epstein.
The cartoon posted on X shows US President Donald Trump riding in a race car, flanked by US Education Secretary Linda McMahon to his left on a motorcycle and an unnamed, grey-haired man behind him driving a go-kart.
The Democrats’ US House Oversight account wrote on X: “Jesus Christ, that’s Jeffrey Epstein.”
All are shown driving in what appears to be the coming Freedom 250 Grand Prix race, which is set to hit Washington streets this weekend.
Captioned “Freedom REVS”, the image was made with Grok Imagine, according to X, an artificial-intelligence image-generation tool. It appears to be inspired by Mario Kart, the popular video game series.
The image has racked up more than 500 replies, many likening the unnamed male to the dead paedophile.
The US Department of Education confirmed that the man on the right is a depiction of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
Trump, a former friend of Epstein’s, has been scrutinised over his links to the convicted sex offender.
