There’s no couple more powerful on screen at the moment than Tom Holland and his real-life wife Zendaya, and with her fourth blockbuster set to be released in December, it could cement the actress’ status as Hollywood’s most bankable star in 2026.

According to a report released by Forbes earlier this week, the first three weekends of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey’s — in which both feature — have seen it rack up $1.293 billion in ticket sales globally.

Leading the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opened last weekend to similar fanfare, the pair added a quickfire $1.315 billion in sales worldwide before the film has even cracked its first week.

However, what sets up Zendaya as potentially the industry’s strongest 2026 screen performer is the anticipation of yet another blockbuster in Dune: Part Three arriving in December.

Should Denis Villeneuve’s franchise conclusion reach the heights of its predecessors, $582 million globally for Dune: Part One, and $1.013 billion for Dune: Part Two, it could see the 29-year-old crack $3 billion gross ticket earnings for the year.

And finally, let’s not forget her black romantic comedy alongside Robert Pattinson in The Drama earlier this year, which took another $188 million.

Currently, filmmaker and actor Benny Safdie sits atop the highest grossing list for his supporting work in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and The Odyssey.

However, with the Spiderman juggernaut set to only continue, and Dune’s final chapter on the horizon, it could see Zendaya eclipse Brie Larson’s 2019 efforts for a single year for her work in both Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame.

That is, if Zendaya’s husband Holland doesn’t pip her at the post by appearing in Avengers: Doomsday, also scheduled fro release in December, which he is yet to be confirmed for.

It should be a race to the finish line for the superhuman couple.
