Hyderabad’s Ponnam Prabhakar, the state’s transportation minister, claimed that the Mahalakshmi Scheme’s completely bus services, provided by Telangana Road Transport Corporation, saved the state’s women Rs 12 167 billion on Tuesday, September 1.
The minister addressed a meeting at the Van Bhavan in Hyderabad on the situation of the 1, 000 days of the Congress state. She claimed that so far under the plan, which was introduced within 48 hours of the state taking office, 347.36 crore completely travels have been made.
He added that the project has also increased TGSRTC’s ownership price from about 67 to 89 percent.
The minister then went on to describe the government’s initiatives in the areas of public transportation, women’s independence, employee welfare, electronic mobility, and road safety.
To get added 2,200 energy buses
Prabhakar stated that the government will add to the fleet’s 1, 024 electronic cars with 2,200 more. The state is currently operating energy cars in Hyderabad under the PM E-DRIVE program, and it has begun retrofitting 240 fuel trucks, according to Prabhakar.
The Telangana state, according to the secretary, has even provided tax exemptions for about Rs 1,400 million as part of its efforts to promote energy mobility and decrease pollution.
He claimed that the government is also attempting to encourage women to participate in the transportation industry more than simply as participants in free vacation.
The minister claimed that up to 600 cars have been purchased through women’s self-help organizations and through SERP, with the organizations running the activity.
New RTC cars
Prabhakar continued, claiming that since the government has taken control of the government, 2, 932 fresh trucks have been purchased to enhance public transportation services.
In Hyderabad, TGSRTC has added 370 new routes to its offerings, and initiatives are being made to attach towns and other places that had no other option for vehicle transportation.
He added that the government intends to coordinate RTC solutions with MMTS and Metro Rail to strengthen last-mile connection.
4, 538 RTC employment filled
He claimed that the government has begun hiring for the TGSRTC’s 4,538 positions.
The secretary said that 1, 000 individuals and 743 shramik posts have been filled, and that permission has been granted to replace 1, 500 wire positions.
Around 244 workers who had formerly been suspended from services were reinstated after their situations were reviewed by a particular IAS council, the minister continued.
