A woman has been charged with attempted murder over an alleged plot to kill two children inside a Brisbane home.
Police allege the 47-year-old woman attempted to kill boys by exposing them to a noxious substance at a home in the northwestern suburb of Mitchelton on September 24.

A 70-year-old man who went to the home detected a substance and reported the matter to police.
“The boys did not require medical treatment and are safe and well,” a Queensland Police spokesman said.
The woman was taken to hospital for medical treatment and was discharged on Thursday.
She was immediately arrested and taken into police custody.
Child Protection investigators charged her with two counts of attempted murder against a child.
She is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
