According to the official police complaint filed by Raj Singh Chauhan, the incident occurred on the evening of October 5 near a cafe on Haridwar Bypass. Chauhan said that he met Dobhal and his associates around 6:00 pm. An argument reportedly escalated into physical violence around 8:00 PM, with Dobhal and his group allegedly launching an attack.
In his complaint, Chauhan alleged that Dobhal attempted to choke him, while the YouTuber’s companions physically assaulted him using iron weapons and wooden sticks. Speaking to Aaj Tak, Chauhan detailed the ordeal, alleging that Dobhal arrived at the venue accompanied by bouncers and forcefully demanded his mobile phone password before starting the assault.
