Two labourers died after falling from the 14th floor of an under-construction housing society in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, when the shuttering collapsed during construction work.
SHUTTERING COLLAPSES DURING CONSTRUCTION
The accident took place at Golf Home Society in Greater Noida, where construction work was underway.
According to the information available, shuttering at the site collapsed from the 14th floor, causing the two labourers to fall. Both died in the accident.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the bodies into custody. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
CONTRACTOR TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The contractor associated with the construction work has been taken into custody, police said.
The incident has also raised questions over the safety measures in place at the under-construction site. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the collapse and the deaths of the two labourers.
