Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, has backed actor Gaurav Khanna and accused his actor-wife Akanksha Chamola of “blackening his good name” and “milking his fame” for views. In a sharp comment on Instagram, Orry also called her “a real snake”.
The exchange comes at a time when Akanksha has spoken publicly about her marriage to Gaurav on Lock Upp Season 2, while Shagun has alleged that Gaurav bullied her during the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.

An Instagram post recently claimed that both Akanksha and Shagun had made negative remarks about Gaurav and pointed out that they are represented by the same talent agency. The post referred to Akanksha saying she would have preferred to see her pet dog over Gaurav on Lock Upp, and to Shagun saying that Gaurav bullied her on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
Replying in the comments, Orry wrote, “She is just blackening his good name and milking his fame for her own views. No one knows who she is. I din’t even know he was married. We shared a vanity together for a month in Capetown during KKK filming. This is complete shameless behavior, to test and take advantage of a good man. this girl is a real snake in the grass.”
“As for Shagun, I am pretty sure I bullied her more during KKK, and we are still good friends. It’s just fun to bully her because she gives good reactions and we needed entertainment,” he added.
What Shagun Sharma said
A few days earlier, Shagun Sharma spoke to Filmygyan about her experience on KKK and said Gaurav is one person she would not want to meet again. She alleged that he often singled her out during tasks and said, “He bullied me a lot. For example, if five people performed a task and four of them aborted it, out of those four, he would pick on me the most. He would say, ‘She gives up’, ‘She is weak’, and ‘Don’t do this’.”
Shagun added that people can become a different version of themselves in a reality show setting. She said she could not say whether Gaurav is the same in real life as he appeared to be on the show.
Akanksha and Gaurav’s marriage
Akanksha and Gaurav married in 2016 after reportedly meeting and falling in love during an audition. They got married on November 24, 2016 in a three-day wedding celebration in Gaurav’s hometown, Kanpur.
During the premiere of Lock Upp Season 2, Akanksha said she and Gaurav were getting divorced. She shared that they had been living separately for a year, and there was no bitterness between them. She said that they were not right for each other as partners because they wanted different things in life.
Akanksha also revealed on the show that she is bisexual and had been in relationships with women before marrying Gaurav. Later, when Gaurav entered the show as her supporter and clarified that they were not legally divorced.
