Actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan walked away with Rs 25 lakh on the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18. The two, who appeared on the show with director Priyadarshan to promote their upcoming film Haiwaan, successfully answered the Rs 25 lakh question before their time on the hot seat came to an end. Can you guess the answer?

The final question they faced was: “Which of these is a Brazilian performing art form of African origin that incorporates martial arts movements such as kicks and chops?” The options were Tango, Capoeira, Bushido and Flamenco.

With the help of the available lifelines, they locked in ‘Capoeira’ as their answer, which turned out to be correct. However, moments later, the show’s timer went off, bringing their stint on the hot seat to an end.

What is Capoeira?

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and acrobatics. The first references to the art form date back to the 1700s, and it is believed to have originated in Angola before evolving in Brazil. By the 1900s, Capoeira had gained acceptance as a sport, and its practice was legalised in Brazil in 1937.

Saif and Akshay appeared on KBC 18 to promote Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan. In the film, Saif plays a visually impaired man, while Akshay essays the role of a criminal. The film marks Saif’s first collaboration with Priyadarshan, while the actor shares a long history of working with Akshay.

The two have previously shared the screen in films including Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi, Aarzoo and Tashan, among others. During the episode, they also revisited their Main Khiladi Tu Anari days, dancing to the film’s title track. Saif further entertained the audience by playing the tune of Akshay’s song Deedar, with the latter singing along.
