At a conference presided over by Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, the state-level Census Coordination Committee discussed the progress made so far at the Secretariat on Friday, October 23.
Bharati Holikeri, Telangana’s Director of Census Operations, gave a thorough explanation of the population process. She claimed that the state had completed the second step, which included home listing and housing census.
She predicted that the second phase of community identification may take place in January and February 2027. She added that people may have access to the self-enumeration tool 15 times before the process actually begins.
The conference reviewed the steps taken to prepare for the second phase, with particular attention to proper execution of training, coordination among the involved departments, and successful implementation of the enumeration process.
Planning and inter-departmental cooperation are essential to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the population identification process, according to Chief Secretary Jaju.
Another officials, including chief executives of Sandeep Sulthania, Sandeep Sulthania, Danakishore, GAD Ahmed Nadeem, Christina Zongthu, Lokesh Kumar, and profit secretary, were present.
