Aaron Rodgers has found reconnecting with his estranged family to be a “beautiful” process.
The 42-year-old sports star was previously embroiled in a years-long estrangement from his family, who accused Aaron of deliberately distancing himself from them – but the NFL star admits that his wife, Brittani, has played a huge role in their recent reunion.
Aaron – who married Brittani in 2025 – said on Good Morning Football: “A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together.
“It’s been a couple-year process now, the conversations with them.”
Aaron has relished reuniting with his parents, Darla and Ed Rodgers, and his older brother, Luke Rodgers.
He shared: “I’ve been very closed off about that part of my life, and I want to keep it that way.
“But there’s been a narrative that’s gone on for too long that I kind of wanted to shut down, and it’s been really beautiful to reconnect with them, all of them.”
Aaron previously revealed that he was relishing married life.
The sports star insisted there’s “no better feeling in the world” than being a married man, explaining that “your whole world changes in a second”.
Aaron – who intends to retire at the end of the current season – told the NFL Network: “When you meet the right one, and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there’s no better feeling in the world, and I have the most incredible wife.”
Aaron’s wife has transformed his life, giving him a renewed sense of self-belief.
The sportsman appreciates having such a stable presence in his life, describing his wife as his “rock”.
Aaron – who has previously dated the likes of Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley – said: “I just really love her, and I’m so thankful to have her by my side at the end. When you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything.”
