Social activist Anna Hazare has been admitted to the ICU at Bombay Hospital in Mumbai after his health condition deteriorated while he was undergoing treatment at a local hospital near his model village in Maharashtra’s Ralegan Siddhi.
The veteran Gandhian activist was shifted to Mumbai for further medical care after he developed a severe viral infection and acute dehydration. He has been admitted under the supervision of Dr Gautam Bhansali.

Doctors are currently conducting a detailed assessment of his health condition, following which further treatment will be determined. Hazare is being kept under observation in the ICU at Bombay Hospital.
