Australia opener Phoebe Litchfield has been ruled out of the third ODI against Bangladesh with a low grade hip strain.
The star batter has been replaced in the side by allrounder Nicola Carey for the clash at Allan Border Field on Wednesday.
Australia captain Tahlia McGrath won the toss for the third consecutive match and for the third time sent Bangladesh in to bat first.
Litchfield has been in elite form in the series, which Australia leads 2-0, with innings of 77 and 70.
During the latter knock on Sunday night she appeared to suffer the hip complaint and called for a trainer before continuing her innings. With the three-game series now won there was no need to take any risks in a dead rubber.
Litchfield will be monitored ahead of the three-game T20 series against New Zealand which starts in Sydney on Tuesday.
Veteran Beth Mooney, in her 100th ODI, will move up and open the innings with Carey slated to bat at No.8.
