Just a day before Avengers: Endgame: Encore returns to cinemas, Marvel fans have already got a glimpse of what they’re supposed to discover on the big screen. Alleged clips from the re-release have surfaced online, with the footage said to include major teases for Avengers: Doomsday. The clips haven’t been independently verified, but Marvel’s reported efforts to remove them from social media have only added to the frenzy.

Avengers: Endgame: Encore arrives in theatres on September 25 in IMAX and other premium formats. The re-release includes new post-credits material connecting the 2019 blockbuster to Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to hit theatres on December 18.
Doctor Doom, Hulk and a very familiar door
One of the clips doing the rounds reportedly features Doctor Doom recruiting Bruce Banner, who then transforms into Hulk. If the footage is genuine, it could offer an early glimpse at Mark Ruffalo’s return as the green giant in Avengers: Doomsday, following his appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Another alleged scene shows Doom forging his own mask. That detail has already got fans drawing parallels with the first Iron Man, where Tony Stark builds his first suit and helmet while being held captive.
Then there’s a scene that sounds particularly loaded with MCU history.
An extended version of the Endgame post-credits sequence reportedly shows Steve and Peggy dancing at home before their quiet moment is interrupted by a doorbell. Peggy answers it and finds Loki standing outside in his TVA uniform. Steve, naturally, is left staring in shock as Loki walks in.
The leaks reportedly don’t stop there.
A longer sequence set at TVA headquarters is said to feature Mobius and OB watching in horror as universes collide and timelines disappear. The footage allegedly shows 3,000 universes being destroyed – a number that has immediately caught fans’ attention because of Tony Stark’s famous “I love you 3,000” line from Endgame.

The Russos have one request
As the alleged footage continued to spread, directors Anthony and Joe Russo appeared to acknowledge the renewed Endgame excitement in a different way. The brothers shared a clip of themselves watching the film with audiences on its original opening night in 2019.
They recalled sneaking into a theatre and watching the crowd react to the film – from gasps and cheers to tears – describing it as a magical experience.
The Russos also revealed that they’ll be doing something similar for Endgame: Encore. There’s a generation that never experienced the film in a cinema, they said, and they want to hear the reaction when audiences finally get that chance.
But they had one request for fans: don’t spoil the new surprises. That request is already proving difficult to follow.
The alleged leaks arrive as Endgame: Encore prepares to bring audiences back to one of the MCU’s biggest cinematic moments, this time with material designed to point towards what’s next. And the stakes around Avengers: Doomsday are hardly small.
Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the MCU for the film, but not as Tony Stark. He’ll play Victor von Doom, marking a dramatic new chapter for the actor after more than a decade as Iron Man. For now, though, fans will have to decide how much of the leaked footage they want to know before walking into a theatre on September 25.
