The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Tier-II recruitment examination results for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Hindi and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Hindi posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The results were announced on the evening of September 5, 2026.
Candidates who appeared for the Tier-II examination can check their result and shortlisting status through the application portal by logging in with their credentials.

The Tier-II results declared on September 5 are for:
PGT (Hindi)
TGT (Hindi)
The recruitment process is being conducted for teaching and other posts in KVS and NVS. CBSE has been releasing the results in phases.
HOW TO CHECK KVS, NVS TIER-II RESULT
Candidates can check their result or shortlisting status by logging into the CBSE recruitment application portal using their login credentials.

Candidates who are required to exercise a post preference can submit their preferences through the application portal within the stipulated period. CBSE has advised candidates to carefully check the instructions displayed in their login before submitting their preferences.
KVS, NVS TIER-II RESULT: WHAT NEXT?
The next stage of the recruitment process will depend on the post. For posts where an interview is part of the selection process, the Tier-II result determines the candidates shortlisted for the interview.
CBSE said the marksheets for such candidates will be made available on the official recruitment portal within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result, after completion of the interview process.
For posts where the selection process does not include an interview, Tier-II marks will be made available in the respective candidate login along with the result.
Candidates whose posts involve an interview or skill test will be able to access the schedule and call letters through their respective candidate logins after the schedule is finalised.
Before the PGT and TGT Hindi results, CBSE had declared the Tier-II result for the post of Principal in KVS and NVS on September 3, 2026.
CBSE said results for the remaining posts are being finalised and will be declared in phases. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official websites of CBSE, KVS and NVS for further updates related to the recruitment process.
