Actor Kartik Aaryan has been injured on the sets of his upcoming Kabir Khan directorial. India Today has learnt that the actor suffered a severe knee injury while shooting intense action sequences for his untitled film with Khan. It was the last two days of the shoot, with major action sequences planned for the final stretch.
The actor had been undergoing intense training under action coaches, and while performing one of the sequences, Kartik sustained a serious knee injury and had to be rushed to a hospital in the town.

A source close to the production told India Today, “Kartik has now been admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital and is under medical care. The doctors will perform his knee surgery in a day, after which he will have to rest for a few days. He should then be able to resume his work commitments.”
Kartik is expected to take a few days off to recover before resuming work on Anurag Basu’s untitled film.
This is not the first time that the 35-year-old actor injured his knee. Earlier, during a song shoot of Shehzada, Kartik had shared update about his injury.
Upcoming work projects
Meanwhile, the actor who recently won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Chandu Champion, has also stepped into production with Dopamine Studios for his upcoming collaboration with Kabir Khan. The upcoming project marks his second collaboration with the filmmaker after Chandu Champion.
Kartik will also be seen in Naagzilla, a fantasy-comedy-adventure project directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. He also has Captain India in his lineup.
