First-round draftee Josh Lindsay will return for his first game since round 14 as one of three inclusions for West Coast as they prepare to host Collingwood at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Lindsay, second-year forward Tom Gross and co-captain Liam Baker have all been called into the side to take on the Magpies for the Eagles as they look to claim a fifth win this season.
Wingman Ryan Maric has been dropped for a third time this season, joining defender Sandy Brock and out-of-contract small forward Harvey Johnston as casualties from the 11-point defeat to Richmond at the MCG last weekend.
Maric was axed after the round one loss to Gold Coast, but returned ahead of the round seven defeat to St Kilda and held his place in the side until round 16.
He was then dropped again before earning a call-up for the past two games, but once again finds himself out of the best 23 after managing only 15 touches against the Tigers.
Lindsay and Gross will both return for their first games since the round 14 loss to North Melbourne, while Baker is back after missing the past two games because of suspension and a calf niggle.
For Gross, it will be only his second game having needed to transform himself from a midfielder to high half-forward to force his way into the side.
The 19-year-old has kicked five goals and averaged 23 disposals in his past three WAFL outings.
Lindsay has played 12 games in his maiden season after being drafted with pick No.19 last year — one of three first-round draftees for the Eagles alongside Willem Duursma (No.1) and Cooper Duff-Tytler (No.4).
The Magpies have made a whopping five changes with Scott Pendlebury (calf), Pat Lipinski (calf), Jeremy Howe (fractured arm), Harry Perryman (hamstring) and Jordan De Goey (glute) all injured.
West Australian products Sam Swadling and Will Hayes are among the inclusions alongside one-time West Perth wingman Roan Steele as well as Lachie Sullivan and debutant Noah Howes who will help out down back.
