Flies may be able to fog up right then: Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Information and Technology Minister D Sridhar Babu has referred to the state’s problem with flies, citing the fact that they may have developed resistance to fog.

He stated that despite normal fog, the mosquitoes problem is still present at the Telangana Assembly’s Monsoon Session earlier this year. Babu remarked that “officials may examine the situation and come up with a solution to handle the malaria menace.”

Mosquito problem in Hyderabad

The Minister made the visible resistance to fogging during a time when Bangalore residents have expressed concerns about the mosquito problem in places like Manikonda.

A picture of mosquito crowds in the area went viral on social media in August. People of Hyderabad Mail reported that because their house is close to the Ibrahimbagh Lake, it is difficult to deal with the issue.

Additionally, the inhabitants attributed the lack of fogging to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ( GHMC) for reducing the malaria menace.
