Detectives investigating a series of groping attacks upon women on walking trails have released images of the suspect on his getaway e-bike.

Three separate incidents were reported to police at Narrabeen, on Sydney’s northern beaches, after women were accosted on a popular local track on October 7 and 8.

In each case, the man allegedly approached and sexually touched the woman before riding off.

In one of the incidents, he also made inappropriate sexual comments.

After investigators appealed for public assistance earlier this week, they received a fresh report of a woman approached at Narrabeen Lagoon in nearby Wheeler Heights on October 1.

Again, the man groped the victim before fleeing on an e-bike.

The same day this news was received, police learned of an assault targeting two women on a walk trail at Narrabeen Lagoon involving a man on an e-bike that afternoon.

Strike Force Mexvo has been established to investigate the spate of attacks with the assistance of State Crime Command detectives.

CCTV images of a male they say may be able to help with their inquiries was released on Saturday.

The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance. He is believed to be aged under 25 years old, is about 175cm tall and of medium build.

Officers are working to confirm the incidents are linked rather than involving more than a single offender.
