Launched This Week: Haier Mini LED M70 Series, Sony IER-M500 earphones and 5 more

Phones took over this week, and they did not even try to be subtle about it. Three new budget smartphones landed within a few days, each offering something a little something to pique your interest. Step away from the phones for a second, there were some other big launches too. A Mini LED TV from Haier, two new TUF Gaming laptops from Asus, Sony’s new in-ear monitors and a pair of headphones with long battery life.

Haier Mini LED M70 Series

If you’re thinking about upgrading your TV, Haier has added a new Mini LED option to the mix. The all new M70 Series combines Mini LED technology with Micro Dimming and Haier’s AI Picture Quality engine, which adjusts colour, contrast, motion and detail. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, while a 50W 2.1-channel speaker system with a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos handles the audio.

If you’re after something smart and relatively affordable for your next TV upgrade, the Haier M70 Series could be worth a look. It starts at Rs 39,190 and comes in 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch sizes. It is available through leading retail outlets across India and comes with a three-year warranty.

Asus TUF Gaming 16 and TUF Gaming A15

Now for the readers who want one laptop that can handle gaming, college work and everything in between, ASUS has expanded its TUF Gaming lineup in India this week. The new TUF Gaming 16 comes with MIL-STD-810H durability, support for up to 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD storage, and can be configured with up to an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU.

ASUS has also introduced Made in India versions of the TUF Gaming A15, with up to 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD expansion, AMD Ryzen 7 170 and RTX 3050 graphics.
The TUF Gaming 16 starts at Rs 1,79,990, while the Made in India TUF Gaming A15 starts at Rs 1,24,990.

Sony IER-M500 earphones

Now for something a little more serious on the audio front, Sony has launched the IER-M500 in-ear monitor headphones. Yes, they’re wired, but they are designed for performers and audio enthusiasts who want a more focused listening experience. They feature a sealed housing and high sound-insulation ear tips for noise isolation. Sony has also added fitting supporters and different-sized ear tips for a secure fit, while the cable is built to handle repeated bending and the earphones undergo water-resistance testing for stage use.

The Sony IER-M500 costs Rs 10,990 and comes in Black, Red-Blue and Clear.

Blaupunkt BH61 ZenX

Now, if wired headphones aren’t really your thing and you’d rather go wireless, Blaupunkt has something worth checking out. The company has launched the BH61 ZenX wireless headphones with Hybrid Moksha True ANC, 40mm drivers and Bluetooth 6.0. They also pack a 600mAh battery with up to 80 hours of playback, along with a foldable design, soft ear cushions and a comfortable headband.

Lava Bold N4 Lite

If you’re looking for a straightforward smartphone without spending too much, Lava has launched the Bold N4 Lite this week. It features a 6.56-inch display, a UNISOC 9863A chipset, 3GB RAM with up to 3GB virtual RAM and 32GB storage that can be expanded to 64GB. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Android 16 Go with two years of security updates.

The Lava Bold N4 Lite is priced at Rs 8,099, with a special launch price of Rs 7,999. It will go on sale from September 3 at 12pm.

Realme C100i 4G

For anyone who simply wants a phone that can keep going through the day, Realme has added another option to its C series this week. The C100i 4G packs a 6,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging, a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and IP64 dust and water resistance. It also gets an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, Android 16-based Realme UI and 10W wired reverse charging.

The Realme C100i 4G costs Rs 14,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro

If you want a phone that can handle a little more rough and tumble, Tecno has launched one built with that in mind. The Spark Go 3 Pro comes with an IP69 rating for protection against water and dust, along with a 120Hz display and a 5,200mAh battery. It also gets AI Voiceprint Noise Cancellation for clearer calls in noisy surroundings and an IR remote for controlling compatible appliances.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro starts at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 4GB + 128GB version costs Rs 16,999. It will go on sale from September 4.
