Live: Titans left bloodied as Broncos start hot in NRLW grand final qualifier

The trainers are helping her off with blood coming out and staining the towel she’s covering her mouth with. She’s shaking an in real distress. This is ugly and a huge loss for the Titans.

Jesse Southwell hooks a kick from well inside her 40m line and the top-spinning flight catches Indie Bostock in no-man’s land. The ball drops short and bounces up over her head, but crosses the sideline about a metre short of a 40/30.

Coming off last week’s double against the Knights, Romy Teitzel has stormed over for another four-pointer and this is as easy as they come.

The Titans give away back-to-back penalties and the Broncos go to work in the red zone, with Jesse Southwell shaping right, sending Gold Coast fullback Lily Patston flying out wide to cover Julia Robinson, but Southwell turns it under for Teitzel on a great line.

The recovery from marker by Georgie Hale is nowhere near good enough and Teitzel storms over almost untouched.

It is properly hot on the Gold Coast today, so expect some slick footy out there, perhaps with a little fatigue late in the piece.
