There are major delays on the Gateway Motorway after a truck burst into flames early on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called just at about 1.15pm to Belmont, near exit 97 north-bound, with three fire trucks initially at the scene.
The fire was out within five minutes, but one crew remained to await Transport and Main Roads assistance to clean up a diesel spill associated with the fire.
Police were also on the scene directing traffic, with just one lane open as of 2.40pm.
North-bound travellers were backed up all the way to Rochedale, some 12 kilometres away.
South-bond traffic was also effected, with traffic backed up to the Murarrie entrance.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
