A huge police and fire and rescue presence has been spotted near Central Station in response to a fire in an office building
A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman said they were called to the fire at the top of the nine-storey building at about 6.10am.
“Firefighters are gaining access to the building and attempting to extinguish and control that fire,” he said.

“We’ve responded with 15 fire trucks to that location and police and ambulance are also assisting.
“There are no reports of injuries – we don’t believe there’s any risk to life at this time … we’re still concerned for the occupants of the building, still working to ensure their safety.”
