A dispute broke out at a hotel in Indore on September 5 after a Muslim man was allegedly found with a Hindu woman in a room. The incident came to light after information about the matter reached Hindu activists, who went to the hotel and handed the man over to the police.
According to Hindu activists, the man had befriended the woman through Instagram. They alleged that he used to obtain the Instagram IDs of women who visited a momos shop and then establish friendships with them. The activists claimed that he had also contacted the woman through Instagram.

The activists further alleged that the man had introduced himself as Roshan while befriending the Hindu woman. They identified him as Ahad Lakadiya and said he was a resident of the Manikbagh area.
After receiving information about the incident, Hindu activists and members of Shri Rajput Karni Sena reached the hotel. They caught the man and handed him over to Vijay Nagar police, who detained him and began questioning him. Police also started an investigation into the matter.
ACP Parag Saini said police had received information that a dispute had taken place among some people in the Ashoka Colony area. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and detained a man named Ashok, who was identified as a resident of Ashoka Colony.
According to police, the initial information suggested that the matter involved a dispute between two sides. Police said they were investigating the actual reason for the dispute and the role of other people involved.
Shri Rajput Karni Sena state president Surendra Singh Dixit, along with Mansingh Rajawat, Vinayak Sharma and Kapil Kaushal, were among the activists present at the spot.
Police are investigating the allegations made against the man and the circumstances surrounding the dispute.
