The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the final correction window for NEET PG 2026 candidates whose photographs, signatures or thumb impressions do not meet the prescribed image-upload guidelines.
Eligible candidates can correct their images through the Selective Edit Window from August 12 at 1 PM to August 15 at 11:55 PM. Candidates who fail to make the required corrections within this period may have their applications rejected. No further opportunity will be provided to edit the images.

The official notice reads, ‘Such candidates are being granted a final opportunity to rectify their images between 12-08-2026 (01:00 PM) to 15-08-2026 (11:55 PM); failure to rectify these during the ‘Selective edit window’ may result in the cancellation of their applications.’
Candidates must ensure that their photographs, signatures and thumb impressions comply with the image-upload guidelines issued by NBEMS. They can log in to the official NBEMS website using their credentials to check whether their uploaded photograph has been approved or rejected.
Candidates should also keep the email ID and mobile number registered in their NEET PG 2026 application active until the examination, counselling and admission processes are completed.

NEET PG 2026 EXAM CITY INTIMATION SLIP RELEASED
In other news, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the NEET PG 2026 test-city intimation slip on August 11, giving candidates advance information about the city allotted for their postgraduate medical entrance examination.
The official NBEMS schedule confirms August 11 as the date for test-city intimation. NEET PG 2026 will be conducted on August 30 in computer-based mode at examination centres across the country.
This year’s examination also comes with changes to the test pattern. The paper will comprise 180 multiple-choice questions, compared with 200 earlier, and candidates will get 210 minutes to complete the test. The paper will be divided into five sections, with 36 questions and 42 minutes allotted to each section.
