The National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken note of messages circulating on social media and messaging platforms claiming that the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination question paper has been leaked, is available in advance, or is being sold online.

NTA has categorically denied these claims, stating that they are false, fraudulent, and intended to mislead students and their families.

According to the agency, such messages are being spread by organised cheating rackets that exploit the anxiety of aspirants and their parents. Their primary objective is to extort money by selling fake question papers, and NTA has clarified that every such claim currently circulating is fabricated.

NTA WARNS OF STRICT ACTION

NTA has said that the integrity of the examination process remains fully intact and that all necessary safeguards are in place to ensure a fair and secure examination for every candidate. The agency added that it is actively identifying and reporting the channels, accounts, and content responsible for spreading such claims to the relevant platforms and cybercrime authorities for immediate action and removal.

Further, NTA is filing a formal complaint with law enforcement and cybercrime authorities. The agency said that creating, circulating, or forwarding such fraudulent content, and attempting to defraud students, is a serious, punishable offence. It added that strict action will be taken against those found responsible.

Candidates and parents are strongly advised not to engage with, pay for, or forward any such messages and not to fall prey to these fraudulent solicitations.

NTA has urged all aspirants to ignore these rumours and rely solely on official communications issued through its verified website and channels. The agency stressed that any genuine information regarding the examination will be communicated only through these official sources.

NTA urged candidates appearing for NEET (UG) 2026 to focus on their preparation with confidence, stating that their hard work is what matters. The agency reiterated its commitment to conducting a fair, secure, and credible examination.
