Hyderabad: A farmer allegedly mocked the Gajwel Mandal Revenue Officer ( MRO ) when he allegedly asked why he hadn’t yet ingested pesticide when he allegedly approached the officer over a land issue.

The Opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi ( BRS ) and a video of the incident have also been criticized on social media after it became popular.

The agent has since clarified that the picture is outdated and that the farmer was still in contact with him when he went to his business in search of compensation for the land that had become entangled in a family dispute.

The producer is seen asking the MRO about his situation in the movie, and the official replies,” Yes, completely.

The video was” terrible and completely undesirable,” according to BRS working leader KT Rama Rao.

Do we behave similarly toward the producers who produce our food? You must be mentally ill to handle another person the same way this official did. Terrible and inadmissible in every way. In a post on X, he wrote,” I demand that @TelanganaCS take action against this MRO.”

MRO makes clarifications.

PH Swamy, the MRO, delivered his interpretation of the activities to Times of India.

According to Swamy, Yesu, a farmer from Maktha Masanpally village, has been demanding compensation for the acquisition of agricultural land for the Regional Ring Road ( RRR ) project.

Due to the land’s involvement in a community debate, the MRO claimed it could not be acquired. Swamy claimed that he had repeatedly told the farmer that the payment could only be made after the debate was resolved by the community.

But, Yesu remained persistent in threatening to consume pesticide if the funds were not credited.

Yesu had once drunkenly entered the MRO and sparked a kerfuffle there. No circumstance was registered and the farmer was given a warning, Swamy told TOI, despite making a complaint to the authorities.

After the family’s debate was resolved, Swamy claimed the money was credited to their accounts. No examination has been launched into Swamy’s behavior, though.
