Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party ( CJP), pleaded with opposition parties to stop voting in elections on Friday if they think the electoral process is being rigged, claiming that their continued participation only serves to legitimize such polls and gives the impression that they are fair and free.
In a blog on X, Dipke claimed that opposition parties may not continue to battle elections while simultaneously claiming that they were being rigged.
Opposition “legitimizing skewed votes”
Votes are being manipulated, yes. However, he said,” You continue to join in rigged elections, which legitimize these elections and perpetuate the idea that they are free and fair.”
The CJP creator questioned whether criticism parties continued to attend because they feared that boycotting elections would result in their social extinction.
