Keegan Allen has allegedly been robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint in a shocking public attack.
The 37-year-old actor, who is best known for his role as Toby Cavanaugh in 90 episodes of Pretty Little Liars between 2010 and 2017, shared a disturbing video of himself with blood dripping from his face and onto his clothes after the terrifying incident outside a grocery store in West Hollywood.
In an Instagram video taken moments after the crime, he said: “These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off.
“They had masks on and took my watch. They took my watch. Dammit.”
Keegan, who also shared CCTV footage of the incident, has insisted “West Hollywood is not safe anymore”.
He wrote alongside the video: “Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch.
“Will update more soon. Let’s hope all these flock cameras that @karenbassla @gavinnewsom and everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals. God bless.”
Hours later, Keegan responded to a social media follower who urged him to seek medical care.
He replied: “I’m def concussed and at hospital.”
A spokesperson for Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office has told TMZ that Allen was “approached by two men wearing all black”, with one suspect shoving a gun a his face as the other pulled out a knife.
It’s said the pair demanded his watch and bracelet, before the gunman “allegedly struck Allen in the face with the pistol before snatching his watch”.
It’s said the two men made a quick getaway in an “unknown vehicle”.
Paramedics reported to the scene and treated him for a “head laceration”, but Keegan didn’t get taken to hospital.
The outlet noted that the Citizen app has reports indicating the suspects stole a Rolex before making tueir escape.
Earlier this year, Keegan appeared in an episode of The Rookie as Deputy Ian Coleman, while he recently starred as Liam Walker in crime drama Walked from 2021 to 2024.
