In a no-holds-barred assault on Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi claimed on Wednesday that the BJP head was to blame for the violence against young protesters and does not have the guts to describe what transpired with the students in Parliament.
The Lok Sabha’s opposition leader made the remarks after speaking with a group of individuals who had demanded Dharmendra Pradhan’s departure from then-education minister last month over the paper leaks scandal and alleged police excesses on July 20.

He added that it is not a murder to complain about the educational program, which is dysfunctional, crumbling, and pointless.
The system needs to be changed, and it needs to be fixed, which is all they ( the students ) were asking for. They weren’t being aggressive or dirty, but they were engaging in violence. They were beaten, assaulted, and threatened,” Gandhi alleged.
He criticized for forcing them, sending “goondas,” and violently accepting an apology from a 15-year-old while also apologizing, saying that apology is absurd and intolerable.
Gandhi advocated for a functioning educational system, end to test leaks, and shelter for students ‘ futures.
Gandhi claimed that the house minister is the one who is to blame for this crime.

Gandhi praised the kids for standing before the media, blaming Home Minister Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for having the guts to speak up. He claimed that the kids had shown a lot of fortitude despite being subject to abuse.
